As a high school musician the value of private instruction can NEVER be underestimated. In fact, many musicians who begin private instruction excel at their craft exponentially faster than their peers. Most make it into district, state, college, and beyond!
The following instructors are recommended by Topsail's Music Department:
Carlton Howard - Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, & Tuba
Mr. Howard visits and instructs at Topsail High School frequently including Band Camp, Concert Band clinics, attends concerts, and instructs numerous students privately already. Take a look at his webpage.
Mr. Lane is a graduate of Topsail High School, is a graduate of UNCW in Music, and is currently attending UNCG for a Masters of Music in Trombone Performance. He currently is available to teach private lessons. (910) 352-5123
